Beau Thai Ball Benefiting Loving Lucy in support of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) Cardiac Care and Research

In honor of the life of Beau Truesdale, the Beau Thai Ball continues to bring people together in the same way he always did – through warmth and genuine connection. On Saturday, January 24th, The Mill Lakeside Manor in Spring Lake Heights, New Jersey opened its doors for the second annual Beau Thai Ball, benefiting Loving Lucy in support of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) Cardiac Care and Research.

The evening began at 6:00pm as bow ties and elegant gowns filled the room for cocktail hour by the fireplace. Fresh mozzarella, oysters, lobster ravioli, and other selections set the tone for the occasion, paired with cocktails and strawberry lemonade.

As guests moved upstairs for the silent auction and wine pull, live music carried through the room and dancing naturally followed. Shoes came off, smiles grew, conversation took shape, and it was clear that the spirit of the evening mirrored the warmth and joy of the man it honored.

Heartfelt remarks from Beau and Lucy’s family members, along with representatives from CHOP, brought the room to a pause – moving not only those at the microphone, but the entire audience.

By the end of the evening, attendees exited with traveling treats in hand (who knew table side cannolis were a thing!) as snow began to fall and two white swans glided across the lake – a fitting close to a remarkable evening. Exceeding expectations in both spirit and generosity, the event raised over $100,000 for Loving Lucy and CHOP’s pediatric cardiac care and research. Thank you to all who attended and donated.
